EWI is delighted to announce that Pain Expert Limited have been approved as a Corporate Partner.

Pain Expert Limited is the latest organisation to join EWI’s Corporate Partnership scheme. This scheme, which is open to any organisation who employs or manages a panel of experts, seeks to recognise those organisations which ensure the quality of their experts; ensuring they are appropriately qualified and encouraging staff or panel members to develop their skills as an expert witness.

Pain Expert Limited are medical chambers out of which invited medical specialists run their medicolegal practices. Their experts provide courts in the UK and the Republic of Ireland with well-structured medicolegal reports that meet the requirements set out in CPR35, PD35, and Guidance for the Instruction of Experts in Civil Claims 2014.

All their experts have a genuine interest in providing their expert opinion to assist the courts in the assessment of personal injury and clinical negligence claims.

Simon Berney-Edwards, CEO of the Expert Witness Institute, said: “We are pleased to confirm Pain Expert Limited’s status as one of our Corporate Partners. They are already working closely with another Corporate Partner (Applied Psychology Solutions) for them to jointly deliver training for the Expert Witness Community and we are delighted to have them on board as one of our Corporate Partners.”

Dr Jon Valentine, Managing Director and Consultant in Pain Medicine, said, “Pain Expert Limited are delighted to become an EWI Corporate Partner advancing our relationship with the Expert Witness Institute. It highlights our shared commitment to ensuring that expert witnesses are highly skilled in order to provide the best possible assistance and value to the courts. We believe it is of utmost importance that solicitors have access to clear, considered and fully independent medico legal reports from high quality, fully trained experts. Our Corporate Partnership with the EWI confirms the importance that we as a company place on quality assurance and a commitment to best practice.”
