Expert Reports must be the sole work of the expert and therefore experts should not be discussing their opinion with a peer before they complete the report and they certainly should not be sharing any of the supporting evidence as this would be a breach of confidentiality and disclosure. However, there are ways that Expert Witnesses can be supported through a mentoring relationship.
