Lord Hodge, Deputy President of the Supreme Court gave the keynote address at this year’s EWI Online Conference.

The EWI is concerned about a new tool available from Lexis Nexis which is branded as “a detailed and unrivalled validation of experts” which makes “it fast and easy to complete comprehensive due diligence on experts”.

Giving the keynote speech at London International Disputes Week, Sir Geoffrey explained why he is so committed to a wholly new online system for dispute resolution.

In her new role she will oversee procedural aspects of civil claims at first instance in the High Court from issue through to trial, also conducting shorter trials on occasion.

Two cases provide a stark reminder of the importance of declaring any conflict of interest.
